Engineer - WiFi / Structured Cabling - IC

Client Description: Leading telecom carrier and IT solutions company.

Job Description:

Responsibilities
  • WiFi & Network system project design, planning, implementation and ongoing support & maintenance.
  • Carry out WiFi system design, installation and maintenance support.
  • Attend customer meetings to confirm WiFi requirements and update installation progress.
  • Issue fault tickets to equipment vendors and assist with troubleshooting.
  • Prepare project documents and provide training/briefing to customers.
  • Wi-Fi project work implementation.
  • Work with Project Manager and collaborate with other function teams for Wi-Fi projects.
  • Site Management including work planning and project coordination.
  • Contractor supervision and workmanship inspection.
  • WiFi reports (coverage, testing and commissioning, UAT) / drawing / submission preparation.
Project Engineer (Structured Cabling System)

Fresh graduates are welcomed. Candidates with less experience will also be considered for the position of Assistant Engineer.

Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for cabling project work implementation.
  • Work with Project Manager and collaborate with other function teams for cabling projects / cabling portions of integration projects.
  • Site Management including work planning and project coordination.
  • Contractor supervision and workmanship inspection.
  • Site report / drawing / submission preparation.
  • Ad hoc work assignments from superior.
  • Structured cabling system project implementation.
Job Requirements For WiFi Engineer:
  • 5 years working experience in IT networking and 3 years in Wi-Fi systems.
  • Good technical knowledge on Cisco/Aruba/Ruckus/Huawei Wi-Fi systems.
  • Degree holder in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Holder of CCNA/CCNP.
  • Good work planning, coordination, and contractor management.
  • Good problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Can work independently and under pressure.
  • Working in a construction site environment may be required.
For Project Engineer (Structured Cabling System):
  • 2 years working experience.
  • Non-Degree Tertiary or above in Engineering or Computing.
  • Experience and working knowledge of Structured Cabling Systems (Copper and Fibre solutions).
  • Construction site and Data Centre project work experience would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of cabling BOM creation, cable material, and infrastructure components.
  • Knowledge of ACAD and MS Office software.
  • Skilled in work planning, coordination, and contractor management.
  • Experience in tendering, bidding, and budgeting is a plus.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Good problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Can work independently and under pressure.
  • Stable work environment.
  • Working in a construction site environment may be required.
