Senior Manager, Management Consulting (business strategy) | client-side opportunity The hiring company, a diverse conglomerate with operations in Hong Kong and China, is currently seeking a highly experienced and dynamic professional to join their team as a Senior Manager. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive business expertise to assist Executives in maximizing the profitability of their businesses. Your responsibilities will encompass reviewing financial statements and operational data, engaging with department heads and employees to gain insights into company requirements, and compiling comprehensive reports outlining strategies to enhance profitability. Responsibilities Provide expert consulting to the top management and senior executives, offering strategic guidance and actionable recommendations to improve business performance and achieve organizational objectives. Conduct in-depth analysis of the company’s business processes, operations, and market dynamics to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities. Develop and implement effective business strategies, including market entry plans, organizational restructuring, performance optimization, and cost reduction initiatives. Lead and manage consulting / special projects, including project planning, resource allocation, timeline management, and deliverable creation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to drive change management efforts, ensuring successful implementation of recommended solutions. Conduct comprehensive research and data analysis to support strategic decision-making and develop fact-based insights and recommendations. Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations and reports to communicate findings, recommendations, and project progress to senior leadership. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and leverage this knowledge to provide innovative solutions to clients. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred. Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in management consulting, business consulting, or strategy consulting, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects and driving business transformation. Strong expertise in various consulting methodologies, frameworks, and tools, such as SWOT analysis, value chain analysis, and business process reengineering. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage consulting engagements, including project scoping, resource allocation, stakeholder management, and project delivery. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information, identify key insights, and develop data-driven recommendations. Excellent communication and presentation skills in Chinese and English, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders. Strong business acumen and understanding of industry dynamics and market trends. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels of an organization.
