Assistant Institutional Research and Branding Manager II (Post Ref.: 25/290) Applications are now invited for the following post: Institutional Research and Branding Office (IRBO) Lingnan University is one of the eight publicly funded institutions in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and has the longest established tradition among the local institutions of higher education. Further information about Lingnan University is available at Responsibilities Maintain and operate the official Lingnan University website, and oversee the creation and enhancement of new webpages on the Lingnan website to strengthen branding and promotional initiatives. Work closely with the website vendor to develop and implement effective SEO strategies, ensuring optimal visibility and presence for Lingnan's website in search engine results. Manage the development of the brand video to be promoted locally, globally, and in the Chinese Mainland to enhance Lingnan’s brand. Organize and manage significant global events in collaboration with partners and ranking organizations to elevate Lingnan's profile. Administer IRBO’s budget, along with the university-wide branding budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources. Manage office administration for the unit. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s). Requirements A Bachelor’s degree with at least eight years of solid work experience in a field related to marketing, branding, or communications, preferably in the tertiary education sector. Proven experience in organizing university-level events and managing webpages and social media platforms. Possess project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite design software. Be proactive, independent, and able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Be a team player with adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow within the role. Travelling and site visits may be occasionally required. Salary and Fringe Benefits The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
