About the museum M+ is a museum dedicated to collecting, exhibiting, and interpreting visual art, design and architecture, moving image, and Hong Kong visual culture of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Located in Hong Kong’s West K, we are one of the leading museums of modern and contemporary visual culture in the world. The museum reflects our unique time and place, building on Hong Kong’s historic balance of the local and the international to define a distinctive and innovative voice for Asia’s twenty-first century. Position (This is a fixed‑term contract position of 2‑year with possibility for renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance.) Responsibilities Assisting the Store Manager in maintaining smooth day‑to‑day operations of the main shops and pop‑up stores; Handling staff scheduling and deployment, ensuring high‑quality customer service; Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to foster brand loyalty; Managing visual merchandising and maintaining inventory levels while controlling costs; Collaborating with the Store Manager and other supervisors to enhance operational efficiency; Overseeing cash handling procedures and ensuring transaction accuracy; Initiating and collaborating on marketing promotions with relevant parties; Undertaking ad‑hoc tasks as assigned by the Store Manager; and Performing any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority. Qualifications Possess a recognised diploma or equivalent in any discipline; Minimum of 1‑3 years' experience in retail or customer service; Proven track record in sales and meeting KPIs; Detail‑oriented, mature, independent, with excellent problem‑solving and customer service skills; Strong communication and leadership abilities; High level of commitment and ownership of responsibilities; Proficiency in MS Office and other computer skills; Availability to work on shifts, including weekends and holidays; Fluent in both English and Chinese, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
