Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement PR campaigns to promote the brand and reputation of our company, products and services.
  • Develop compelling content and press materials to provide a consistent, targeted and impactful message about the company's mission, values and projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
  • Proactively pitch story ideas and secure media placements in relevant media channels, including but not limited to online and print publications, podcasts, and broadcast channels.
  • Monitor and analyse media coverage and trends to measure the effectiveness of PR campaigns and optimise plans as appropriate.
  • Manage crisis communications and handle media enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in PR and communications to ensure strategies remain innovative and effective.
  • Work with leadership and the wider team to take the pulse of overall business activity and to identify cross-marketing opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and proven work experience with 6+ years in PR, communications, or media relations, preferably with a scope and media contacts related to the sector of crypto, fintech, payments, financial services or digital assets.
  • Strong written and verbal proficiency in English as well as traditional Mandarin is essential for communicating with stakeholders in Mainland China and to craft compelling messages, press releases, and other PR materials that effectively convey the organisation's key messages.
  • Solid understanding of the industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities, to effectively develop and execute PR campaigns.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as adaptability and resilience to embrace the everchanging technology and media landscapes, adopting new communication channels to effectively reach and engage target audiences.
  • Ability to quickly assess and respond to reputational issues, manage media enquiries, and develop crisis communication plans to mitigate potential damage to the organisation's reputation.
