Job Summary:

Dream Impact is actively seeking an energetic, proactive, and caring person to be the face of DI in the role of Marketing & Community Engagement Lead. S/he will help us grow the community by creating engagement programs for our community of 100+ founders through: marketing our products and services on/offline, managing our social media channels, communicating with our members and managing onboarding and user journey (quarterly check-ins and membership renewal), running monthly community events, connecting partners for collaborations, managing ambassadors and community builders to co-create events and spreading awareness about Dream Impact community.

As the Marketing & Community Engagement Lead, you will have the opportunity to take ownership and responsibility within our mission-driven business. This position offers a unique blend of strategic leadership and hands-on implementation, providing you with the opportunity for professional growth while making a meaningful impact on our community and organization.

You will be working closely with the Dream Impact community, and you will report directly to the Co-Founder & Chief Catalyst, ensuring alignment with our vision and fostering collaboration across the organization.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a marketing strategy according to objectives and budget
• Implement key visuals for marketing posts
• Gate keep on branding, positioning, communications, and other marketing issues

• Communicate with our 100+ impact partners on community updates, e.g. event invitations, new invoicing and booking policies, resources from the ecosystem etc.
• Manage our WhatsApp community channels, social media channels, newsletter etc.

• Manage members onboarding and user journey (quarterly check-ins and membership renewal)
• Plan and launch community events and initiatives to create connections between members of different organizations. This might include targeted member introductions, recommending possible mentor matches, running networking events, and managing communications within the space
• Learn about the business and personal objectives of tenant organizations and their individual members
• Resolve issues between members quickly and in a manner that diffuses tension
• Plan strategically to create additional value within the community and to collaborate on implementation with team members

• Build a quarterly calendar of coworking events that engages all stakeholders:
• Current members: Lunch and learn session and appreciation events - happy hours, themed parties, etc.
• Potential members: Lead generation and sales-related events
• Local community: Identify outside organizers and encourage them to use our event space.
• Basic Event Ops

• Direct relevant potential, new and existing customers to the relevant person within the organization
• Conduct tours for potential members
• Ensure that new members will fit with DI's culture
• Maintain a positive relationship with key stakeholders
• Manage community P&L

• Create a friendly environment to facilitate high member satisfaction
• Manage onsite logistics to the satisfaction of members
• Make recommendations to the owners about new features or perks that will entice members

Experience, Requirements and Preferences:

• Fluent in both Cantonese and English. The ability to speak Mandarin is a plus
• We welcome people of all educational backgrounds and experiences
• 2+ years working experience with increasing responsibility in leadership roles
• Experience managing corporate communications and events coordination
• Experience with event marketing and sales
• Passion for social entrepreneurial communities and love working with people is a must
• Driven, high executional power, proactive, committed, curious, fast pace, people-connector, adaptable
• High-level ethics, empathy, and dependability
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as event partners, sponsors, vendors, and community members.
• Basic video editing & graphic design skills
• Webpage management (WordPress)
