Senior Maintenance and Engineering Systems Transformation Engineer (Fixed Term Contract) Join to apply for the Senior Maintenance and Engineering Systems Transformation Engineer (Fixed Term Contract) role at Cathay Pacific . Reports to: M&E Business Transformation Manager. This role is part of our Engineering Department focused on reassurance, keeping our people and customers safe, ensuring industry-leading performance, and delivering various fleet programs to plan, budget and specification. In this role, you will shape future Engineering processes, test software and validate data migration results, and collaborate with business units to adopt new processes within budget and timeline. Key Responsibilities Be knowledgeable and a functional SME of the future Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) IT system Support definition of the optimum Engineering "to-be" processes in the future state M&E IT system Manage and deliver necessary change management actions to ensure smooth transition of to-be processes Support the data migration activity, including scope, data mapping, transformation, testing, validation to ensure 100% data accuracy in the new M&E IT system Support software functional test activities, test scripts, perform tests, acceptance criteria, prioritise and manage errors and overall Business Unit (BU) sign‑off Support and define any software customization requirements, testing and sign‑off Conduct system training to wider users including Engineering (ENG), Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul provider (MRO), other business partners Support cut‑over and Go‑live activities, ensuring a smooth transition to the new M&E IT system Requirements Typically, 6 years of related experience in implementation of large scale Engineering, IT change management projects Degree in Engineering / Aerospace discipline or Aircraft Maintenance or other comparable qualification Proven experience in supervising and managing projects and cross‑functional teams Proven experience in managing diverse stakeholder groups Proven ability to manage across departments and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) Good communication, influencing and negotiation skills Drive for excellence Adaptable and responsive to change, demonstrating ability to drive change Able to collaborate within multi‑skilled teams Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Airlines and Aviation Location Wan Chai District, Hong Kong SAR Cathay Pacific is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
