Direct message the job poster from PERSOL APAC Executive Recruitment | Logistics & Supply Chain | APAC Responsibilities As the Regional business head for Greater China (GC) offices, you will be the representative in the Greater China Region, which consists of our own offices in Mainland China & Hong Kong. Your primary focus will be to advance and grow the company's business interests in the region, reporting back directly to the Global CEO in HQ Singapore. Take ownership and management of P&L responsibilities, as well as overall management of the business, and deliver annual targets. Establish, build and manage good relationships with global offices and agencies worldwide. Establish, build and manage good relationships with Key Account (IFF) customers within the GC region. Assist the HQ office in charting out strategic development initiatives for the region as part of the HQ senior management team. Assist and support all HQ’s strategic developments from the GC perspective as the Port of Loading (PoL). Communicate and implement the global strategy and policies with all China offices. Manage and supervise China offices' performance through regular and formal performance review sessions. Align back-end business support such as the roll‑out of Cloud FMS systems, sales and marketing strategies, and reporting platforms to HQ. Build domain knowledge of China regional development, market conditions, and the competitive landscape. Contribute to strengthening the cohesiveness of the network, coordinating and managing any trade‑related issues between the respective POL/POD countries and offices. Negotiate and procure service agreements from approved agents and vendors with the most favorable terms and reliable service for the group. Improve profitability via better buying and/or finding new ways of minimizing costs by working with the Group members. Design and implement solutions that will assist in the Group’s efforts in new product/service launches for all China import and export tradelanes. Assist the Group CEO/Dy CEO in day‑to‑day operational management when needed. Assist the Group CEO/Dy CEO in any special projects when needed. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Business/ Logistics Management (or other relevant subjects) Minimum of 10 years of working experience in Freight Forwarding, Shipping Lines, in Sales and/or Operations, with at least 5 years of direct experience in the Greater China market. Good communication skills High level of personal integrity is a must.
