Strategic Sourcing Specialist at Human8 Department: Consumer Networks Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Hong Kong SAR Reporting To: Elena Bratu The Specialist is responsible for project planning & administration related to our Networks and ensuring a high level of consistency & quality throughout the collaboration with each partner. The Specialist consistently identifies and pursues opportunities to create added value for both the client and Human8. Within the team, the Specialist coordinates all requests for Professional Networks services, works in close collaboration with both the sales and implementation team, and collaborates with external partners. The position supports junior members of the team by coaching them on the job and providing assistance where needed. The role is part of the Acquisition Centre of Excellence within the Networks Sourcing department, contributing to our mission to build strong global networks of internal and external professionals and suppliers, and seamlessly integrating their services in the final client delivery. Responsibilities Project delivery support Involve internal and external resources in planning, briefing, etc. Handle structural projects allocations and high complexity requests. Search for partners based on requested capabilities. Check availability & budget with partners. Communicate timings to the project manager. Follow up budget approval by PST/CST teams. Offer direct supportive services to Project Services Teams and Client Services Teams, providing extra capacity or capabilities. Offer indirect supportive services. Pre-sales advice Act as a business partner in pre-sales advice, creating custom solutions for strategic projects. Handle requests for pricing and feasibility of client service teams. Manage administrative tasks in partners recruitment funnel: onboarding, registration in our tools, legal documents signing & follow-up. Assign partners to necessary trainings. Use negotiated rate cards to advise pre-sales on using network services. Request bespoke proposals from partners. Develop and maintain a knowledge bank of information on partner services, ready to plug‑in into proposals. Network management Develop and maintain relations with suppliers offering services, directly supporting our market research services. Search new contacts via LinkedIn and market research associations. Track partners’ performance. Organize feedback calls with network partners. Request feedback on supplier collaboration from internal client. Identify needs for improving existing networks of professionals. Contract new partners and lay foundations for future collaboration. Educate and inform the networks on key essential elements (e.g., data privacy). Continuously improve the bonding & usage of networks. Ensure billability for internal resources. Business support Provide induction and training for new acquisitions. Offer support for new acquisition in adjusting to change. Organize roll‑out of network usage. Identify needs for setting up new networks. Proactively create standardised sales materials on networks, enabling best usage of the services. Anticipate business needs in in‑demand markets and proactively search for partners. Finance Own reporting on the assigned network. Ensure PO process is followed within the team. Proactively propose solutions on improving cost control. Work closely with Finance department to develop reporting resources. Identify opportunities to negotiate better rates. Technical knowledge Knowledge of all tools used for performing key responsibilities and building best practices. Ability to transfer technical knowledge in an easy and comprehensive manner. With technical knowledge, able to challenge experts and discuss different aspects relevant to the domain. Market research knowledge Good understanding of basic concepts related to market research, especially those related to key responsibilities. Understanding of the strategic value of market research for organizations. Marketing knowledge Up to date with most of the common research and activation solutions out there. Qualifications Strong technical knowledge of tools and best practices. Solid market research knowledge and appreciation of its strategic value. Marketing knowledge – up‑to‑date with common research and activation solutions. Education: Bachelor’s degree (e.g. Marketing, Languages, Mathematics or similar).
