Head of Data Analytics & Strategy - Financial Services Add expected salary to your profile for insights About the client Our client is recognized as a leader in the financial service industry and with an enviable record of success, they are now further expanding their operations and looking for a Head of Data Analytics & Strategy About the role Reporting to the department head, you will lead a sizeable team on development, implementation, and operation of enterprise data, analytics, and platform capabilities to provide stakeholders with timely, trusted, and actionable insights for decision-making. This role defines and executes the data strategy, oversees day-to-day data platform and BI operations, and is accountable for designing, delivering, and optimizing scalable data platforms, pipelines, and analytics solutions. You will develop and manage data platforms and analytics products that transform raw data into meaningful insights, while partnering with internal teams to establish data standards, governance, and best practices that improve data quality and consistency across the organization. The role also promotes innovation through the strategic use of data, analytics, and AI, and is responsible for documenting solutions, analyzing business challenges, and presenting clear, data-driven recommendations to stakeholders The successful candidate Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field with 10+ years of experience Proven ability to anticipate customer needs and future, emerging trends and to articulate a vision and strategy that motivate others to action Proven ability to interpret and apply pertinent policies, procedures, regulations, and requirements Financial services background will be a great plus Very strong technical skills in the areas of data solutions, data governance design and extensive experience with leading enterprise data warehouse technologies Proven track record in establishing strong customer relationships and delivering customer-focused solutions within a large IT enterprise Ability to develop positive working relationships and a strong rapport with team members; demonstrated experience in leading a multifunctional team Good command in Chinese and English Click "Apply Now" to apply for this position or call Karen Cheng at for a confidential discussion.
