In this full‑time role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT solutions that support our company’s growth and business goals. The role is based in our Lai Chi Kok office in the Sham Shui Po District. What you’ll be doing You will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability. This role involves proactive monitoring, troubleshooting network issues, and escalating incidents to appropriate teams to minimize downtime and service disruptions. Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor network systems, servers, and applications using NOC tools and dashboards to detect anomalies or outages. Incident Management: Respond to alerts, diagnose issues, and perform initial troubleshooting. Escalate unresolved problems to higher‑level engineers or vendors as per defined procedures. Performance Analysis: Track network performance metrics, identify trends, and report potential risks or capacity issues. Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of incidents, actions taken, and resolutions in the ticketing system. Communication: Provide timely updates to stakeholders during outages or maintenance windows. Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers. Preventive Maintenance: Assist in implementing preventive measures to reduce network downtime and improve reliability. Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to security protocols and compliance standards during operations. What we’re looking for Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Technical Skills: Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN). Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios, SolarWinds, Zabbix). Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network devices (routers, switches, firewalls). Soft Skills: Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure and in a 24/7 shift environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent. Experience in a NOC or similar technical support environment. The ideal people Proactive, motivated, and eager to explore new technologies and modern IT practices.
