Application Maintenance Manager (Maintenance & Support) APJ Hong Kong ( provides the highest quality software development, maintenance and testing services. Our clients include major enterprises and organizations in the Finance, Manufacturing, Public Utility, Retail, Healthcare and Government sectors. We are looking for an Application Maintenance Manager. Responsibilities Lead the entire cycle of the software maintenance project, including analysing business requirements, specifying functional requirements, developing project plan and schedule, managing cost and quality of work, and preparing documentation for a reputable transport corporation in Hong Kong. Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met for application support through leading a team. Manage a team (on-shore & off-shore) to provide daily system support service for end‑user customers. Handle major and minor incidents, provide troubleshooting and resolution to critical production issues, and be available after office hours as needed. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation. Review IT policy and procedures regularly. Arrange and perform regular OS security patches updates or system enhancements. Provide technical advice and consultancy services to clients. Conduct and coordinate SIT, UAT and regression testing for ongoing system upgrades. Manage configuration, software promotion and release to various system environments. Engage with project governance on performance and change management matters. Escalate complicated or exceptional cases to senior management. Handle other routine and ad‑hoc IT support work including Disaster Recovery drills, system enhancement or bug‑fixing production hot releases. Qualifications Degree holder in Computer Science or related field (preferred). At least 12 years of IT systems maintenance and support experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a management role. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively. Well‑organised, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team. Knowledge of cloud technologies and SaaS applications is a plus. Knowledge in SharePoint, Xamarin, Power BI, RPA, React Native, Nintex is a plus. Customer‑oriented and self‑motivated with excellent communication skills. Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua. Holder of PMP and ITIL certifications will be an advantage. Immediate availability preferred.
