Investment Bank – Geopolitical Research Analyst – VP Deutsche Bank Research is responsible for economic and financial analysis within Deutsche Bank Group and covers asset allocation and all major industry sectors. We analyse relevant trends for the bank in financial markets, the economy and society, highlight risks and opportunities and act as consultant for the bank, its clients and stakeholders. Deutsche Bank Research delivers high-quality, independent analysis and actively promotes public debate on economic, fiscal, labour market and social policy issues. The individual will sit with the Macro & Thematic Research team. You will be providing insights to asset managers and corporates on geopolitical trends that affect the business world, closely collaborating with our existing macro, fixed income and equity research analysts. This involves on-going authoring and production of written research to promote investment views and marketing of those views to internal and external clients. Translate complex regional geopolitical developments into clear, concise, and actionable insights for portfolio managers, analysts, and clients. Ensure the research agenda is aligned with the broader Thematic & Macro Research strategy and contributes to the firm's overall investment thought leadership. Oversee the production of timely, insightful, and high-quality research reports, white papers, presentations, and data visualizations that communicate complex regional geopolitical issues in an accessible manner. Act as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders seeking regional geopolitical insights and guidance. Cultivate and maintain a network of leading academics, think tanks, government officials, and industry experts to gain access to cutting-edge insights and diverse perspectives on geopolitical developments. Participate in internal briefings, client meetings, conferences, and roadshows to present the firm's geopolitical views and build client relationships. Your skills and experience: Good understanding of regional nuances affecting the geopolitical landscape. Excellent written and oral communication skills to convey complex information effectively. Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and external experts. Adaptability to adjust the research agenda as geopolitical situations evolve.
