Overview Join to apply for the Head of Delivery, Algo and Machine Learning Systems, IT role at CLSA. We are seeking a highly experienced and seasoned Algo team head to lead our Algo development team, contributing both technical and business expertise. Leading the team closely collaborates with the Algo quant team and business, enhancing the Algo strategies, maintaining the current Algo trading platform, and designing and developing the next generation of the Algo trading platform/strategy framework. Leading the team committed to fostering innovation through a quantitative, data-driven approach to trading. Responsibilities People management, projects management and prioritization, handle the regulatory/exchange/internal and external audits inspections Work with a team of talented Algo developers on Algo and Analytic systems throughout the entire development lifecycle Plan, design and develop the next generation Algo trading platform/strategy framework Lead the team to work with the quant team and trading desks to develop new features, integrate AI signals, and optimize strategies. Work on Wheel and custom strategies tailored for clients Lead the team to offer Algo advisory services to the business Conduct back-testing to refine and optimize strategies Work with cross-functional teams on market data, market connectivity, and execution management system projects Mentor team members and perform code reviews to ensure high-quality standards Maintain a good team culture, collaborative, valuing each individual and providing opportunities for everyone to make a meaningful impact Qualifications Bachelor Degree in IT / Computer Science or related disciplines; Master Degree is highly preferred Min. 15 years of experience in trading system development, with strong expertise in algorithmic trading platform and strategies 3+ years team lead experience in Tier 1 banks Rich experience in complex and high-performance systems design; full stack knowledge of performance tuning on programming languages, operating systems, and network topology (Switch/Firewall/protocol/etc.) Machine learning and AI theory of algorithms; experience applying it to enhance Algo performance would be a plus Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a background in computer science, engineering, or a related field Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Seniority level Director Employment type Full-time Job function Finance and Information Technology Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at CLSA by 2x Get notified about new Head of Machine Learning jobs in Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR. #J-18808-Ljbffr
