A famous International multi discipline design firm with offices across Asia are going through a period of growth and its set to be a busy 2022. The company is famous globally for its high quality and design-oriented Healthcare planning projects, many of these have won design awards. They are known to have an energetic culture and stable team environment and are now looking for a Medical Planner to join their Healthcare Architecture team, reporting to Director of Health Care in Hong Kong. Responsibilities Creates and plans the conceptual design of healthcare projects in coordination with the design team Develops a comprehensive understanding of a client's programmatic requirements, standards and policies for incorporation into the design solution Significant experience with the design and planning of patient, ambulatory and diagnostic facilities Develop space plans that address the project parameters, user requirements and objectives while achieving innovative solutions Plan and program the development of large, complex medical facilities Leads the planning process by generating concepts and layout of large, complex medical facilities Works closely with different stakeholders to reach consensus on departmental layout, deliver projects on schedule and within budget Coordinates the work effort of multiple planning teams on large projects Works closely with the client to schedule and develop agendas for user group meetings Keep abreast of healthcare planning trends, codes and innovations including LEED and evidence based design principles Design and document all phases of the project: planning, design, construction documents and contract administration Position Requirements Bachelor or Master of Architecture Degree Architecture License preferred. Min. 5 years of experience on wide range of complex healthcare projects, healthcare planning and design on a large scale Proficient knowledge of current healthcare planning and programming concepts including patient safety and evidence-based design principles Great at Hand Drawing + Sketching skills AutoCAD and MS Office proficiency Very strong verbal and written communication skills Healthcare project experience in Asia especially in Hong Kong is a plus If you are interested in working on exciting projects as part of a growing team then please get in touch.
