System Enhancement: Design and continuously improve proprietary trading systems, risk management frameworks, and compliance processes. Team Management: Lead a high-performing team in market analysis, business development, and trade execution, with full P&L responsibility. Market Monitoring: Stay ahead of global economic, geopolitical, and industry events, adjusting strategies in real-time to optimize performance. Risk Management: Establish robust monitoring mechanisms and conduct regular stress testing to ensure a resilient risk control system. Who are they looking for? Educational Background: First degree from a top-tier university in Economics, Finance, or related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in quantitative analysis. Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years in commodity trade finance and/or trading, with at least 2 years leading a team and managing P&L. Commodity Expertise: Deep knowledge and hands‑on experience in at least one major commodity class, supported by strong industry relationships. Trading Acumen: Proven track record in building and running successful proprietary trading books with verifiable positive P&L. Technical Skills: Outstanding quantitative and modeling abilities, with proficiency in developing pricing, arbitrage, and risk models (Python skills highly valued). Language Proficiency: Native Mandarin and business‑fluent English to effectively communicate in global markets and with diverse stakeholders. Analytical Prowess: Exceptional research and analytical skills, with the ability to leverage advanced tools and models for decision‑making. Risk‑Focused Mindset: Strong emphasis on risk management, integrating it into every aspect of the trading operation.
