The Opportunity We are looking for a Compliance Analyst to join our MaplesFS Compliance team as part of our financial services business in Hong Kong . You will be reporting to our Compliance Officer , Hong Kong . As part of our commitment to excellence , MaplesFS Compliance are enhancing their focus with a dedicated team in Asia, split across Singapore and Hong Kong . As part of our t eam , you will be performing the below key duties: Key Duties The role of the Compliance Analyst is a varied and wide- ranging role. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: support the roll out the Hong Kong Compliance monitoring and testing programme , working with the Montreal Risk Assurance team as required ; w ork with Business Assurance in the region to support reviews of onboarding, customer due diligence and related-know your customer requirements ; w ork with the Compliance Manager /MLRO to understand the regulations and rules governing outsourcing to ensure that the other MaplesFS offices are able to offer support to Hong Kong ; assist in the pre paration and updating of testing scripts, ViClarity references and the overall testing programme , including maintaining ViClarity questions; learn to undertake monitoring reviews in accordance with the global Risk Assurance monitoring and testing programme ; learn how to draft findings and recommendations and liaise with business areas as required; t rack regulatory and Financial Crime (1) changes to update policies and procedures; s upport the roll out of the Global Compliance Strategic programme as required, including working on ad hoc project related initiatives ; u nderstand MFS’s core systems to ensure that Compliance coverage is effective and efficient ; d evelop strong skills in Financial Crime and Prudential regulations ; l earn to undertake transaction monitoring , as may be required for local activity ; and a longside the wider team, ensure that F inancial C rime and other Compliance risks are identified, assessed, monitored and mitigated. Requirements In addition to high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following: C urrent/previous experience in a similar role preferred E xperience in Financial Services preferred 2 +/- years, depending on level (more years ' experience if no degree) C ertifications in financial crime and/or regulatory subjects is of benefit K nowledge of Hong Kong and Cayman Islands Financial Crime regulations an advantage Competent in Word and Excel Benefits & Rewards The most enduring professional relationships are reciprocal relationships.
