(Full-time/Part-time) Assistant Professor / Lecturer, School of Computing and Information Sciences (Yam Pak Charitable Foundation) Reference: 25/146/CIS/ACAD Focus Areas: Deep Learning / Artificial Intelligence Applications / Virtual Reality / Multimedia / Computer Vision The School of Computing and Information Sciences ( at Saint Francis University is setting up a distributed/federated learning laboratory and is expanding its research and educational programmes in Artificial Intelligence and in Creative Media. As a newly established Catholic University in Hong Kong, we aim to strengthen the research culture in useful and high‑impact technology areas to better enable our faculty to coach students to become professionals in these fields. Candidates with interdisciplinary experience between Artificial Intelligence and other areas such as design, healthcare, education, and language are also needed. Positions are available at different levels, including full‑time and part‑time. Responsibilities Undertake teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Undertake duties in course/programme/curriculum review and development. Conduct research that leads to publications in top‑tier refereed journals. Engage in high‑level consultancy and other scholarly activities. Perform academic and administrative duties. Perform any other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the Dean of the School or their delegate. Appointment Criteria An earned and recognized Doctoral Degree in relevant disciplines. Substantial relevant research, teaching, or industrial experience. PhD students who have already completed their thesis and possess a strong research record may also apply. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
