Human Resources Manager Company: Nina Hospitality (a Chinachem Group company) Business Unit: Nina Hotel Kowloon East, HK Date: 10 Dec 2025 Job Overview Take the lead in all HR functions in the hotel including but not limited to recruitment, training, employee relations, recreation & management of staff facilities. Motivate and retain hotel team members who continually maximize guest satisfaction and optimize our brand & hotel performance. Responsibilities Responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions and provides HR support to all business units. Provides full range HR services and professional advice to all line managers and team members. Reviews and executes all human resources strategic & budget plans in order to cope with company expansion. Handles performance management, salary review & benefits review exercises. Performs recruitment functions, payroll & MPF calculations, tax returns, and other C&B activities. Ensures compliance with all HR policies, standards, and procedures. Conducts departmental meetings and continually communicates a clear and consistent message regarding the HR goals to produce desired results. Acts as a bridge between Hotel Management to identify and address team member problems or concerns. Handles guest issues and complaints and reports to General Manager on a timely manner. Manages department controllable expenses to achieve or exceed the budgeted goals. Ensures Hotel Policies are administered fairly and consistently, disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed accordingly. Conducts audits and controls on a regular basis. Communicates with Finances in case of irregularity. To coach and counsel team members whenever appropriate. Compiles accurate data for the preparation of month‑end reports. Participates in different Hotel meetings as required for performance improvement and better inter‑departmental communication. Trains and develops team members to the highest possible extent. Ensure that regular training is provided for technical, hospitality, communication, organization, and management skills. Roll out HR initiatives to meet business needs. Requirements Degree / Diploma holder in Human Resources or Hospitality Management. Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience in the hotel or hospitality industry. Hands‑on experience in service/language training, payroll, recruitment & staff motivation programs. Excellent departmental coordination & organization skills. A self‑starter with the capability in working independently and meeting deadlines. People‑oriented with problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in English as well as Mandarin a definite advantage.
