Overview Jump APAC Legal and Compliance team is seeking a highly experienced lawyer specialized in advising an equity capital trading team on up-to-date trading rules and regulations, and monitoring trades on desk. What You'll Do Serve as the primary legal and compliance advisor to the equity capital trading team, providing real-time guidance on trading activities, strategies, and regulatory considerations in major APAC equity markets, including Hong Kong. Monitor trading desk activities to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations, identifying and mitigating potential compliance risks in a fast-paced trading environment. Keep the team informed of updates in trading regulations and market practices across the APAC region, proactively advising on changes that impact trading strategies or operations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including traders, risk managers, and other legal/compliance colleagues, to develop and implement effective compliance policies, procedures, and controls. Independently identify potential compliance risks, exercise sound judgment under time-sensitive conditions, and provide timely solutions while balancing regulatory requirements and business objectives. Foster strong working relationships through clear communication and problem-solving skills, contributing to the firm’s dynamic and flat organizational culture. Other duties as assigned or needed.
