My Place Partnering Doctor– MY PLACE Sexual Health Centre ABOUT US Founded in 1990, AIDS Concern is a leading health charity specializing in HIV/AIDS response, community health and inclusion for people of diverse sexualities and genders. Our vision is to achieve Triple Zero – zero new HIV infections, zero stigma for people living with HIV and zero AIDS deaths. We provide sexual health screening, education, HIV testing and support services for people living with HIV. ABOUT THE ROLE AIDS Concern is now inviting qualified and affirmative medical professionals to join our team as a Partnership Doctor for My Place, our community-based sexual health service enterprise. This role offers a flexible schedule and meaningful engagement in supporting sexual and reproductive health for diverse community in Hong Kong. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Explain medical reports to clients participating in sexual health check‑up Conduct medical sampling, consultations, and treatment where applicable. Provide sexual and reproductive health advice or referrals as needed. Refer clients to AIDS Concern’s support services when HIV‑positive results are identified. Offer professional input to enhance My Place service quality. Available to commit at least two sessions per week; up to 3 hours for each session. Negotiable schedule, preferably weekday late afternoon and evening or Saturday morning. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Medical qualification registrable in Hong Kong under the Medical Registration Ordinance. Solid foundation in general practice or family medicine, with a broad understanding of medical issues affecting service users across all age groups; specific interest or additional training in infectious disease, dermatology, sexual health, including STIs, contraception, sexual dysfunction and mental health would be an advantage. Demonstrated ability to communicate empathetically and effectively with diverse service users, maintaining discretion, confidentiality, and sensitivity to community needs and cultural differences. Experience working within community health settings or similar environments. Strong teamwork skills for collaboration within multidisciplinary teams including programme staff, clinical assistants and counsellors to provide holistic care. Commitment to equity in healthcare access and delivery, with basic understanding of social determinants affecting sexual health. Ability to work independently as well as show initiative, and flexibility to work varied hours to meet community need.
