US-based wholesaler of home and fashion accessories is seeking a Merchandiser based out of its Hong Kong office who will report directly to the Design Director. The ideal candidate must have a strong sense team ethic, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. This role bridges the gap between design, sales and suppliers to ensure timely development, sourcing, production, and delivery of garments and fashion accessories (Handbags, Apparel & Accessories). Key Responsibilities Product Development Coordination: Monitor development schedules and resolve delays. Material Sourcing: Source fabrics, trims, and accessories; negotiate with suppliers. Sampling: Develop and manage proto, fit, size set, and salesman samples. Order Management: Coordinate buyer orders from confirmation to delivery. Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet quality standards; arrange inspections. Documentation: Maintain accurate purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents & manage all required data input and reports. Ensure all input and reports are accurate and complete. Responsible for order follow up from sample development to delivery, including product presentations and cost analysis. Troubleshoot potential production issues and delivery status to the Merchandise Manager in the US. Office Manager: Assist in the day-to-day office needs. Skills & Requirements Excel, PowerPoint, Word and strong computer and verbal skills. Design or a Business degree with a minimum of 3 years of work experience as a merchandiser or production manager. Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Strong attention to detail and highly organized. A background in fashion product is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
