Regional Engineering Marketing Manager – North Asia Join to apply for the Regional Engineering Marketing Manager – North Asia role at the Hilti Asia Pacific . What You'll Do Code & Approval (C&A) Strategy Lead the development and revision of engineering codes across North Asia, identifying gaps and harmonizing standards to unlock business opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, marketing, solution managers) and external stakeholders (test engineers, professors, approval bodies) to expand Hilti’s influence in the C&A landscape. Define and implement local code development strategies aligned with market needs and business unit roadmaps. Steer code revision initiatives and ensure successful execution across China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea. Promote technical differentiation of Hilti solutions through code revision content and strategic messaging. Engineering Marketing & Specifier Engagement Develop and execute a regional engineering marketing roadmap in collaboration with global and local teams. Create compelling technical content (e.g., webinars, white papers, articles) to engage specifiers and engineers. Deploy content through appropriate channels and campaigns to build awareness and drive engagement. Build and nurture a strong engineering community by driving competence and confidence through training, field engagement, and digital platforms and be the subject matter expert to uplift engineering team capability. Understand customer applications, competitive landscape, and Hilti’s unique value proposition in the Fastening & Protection space. Commercial Strategy & Business Steering Define go-to-market approaches for the specification business and steer sales performance across the region. Use data‑driven insights to guide strategic decisions and ensure alignment with broader business goals. Connect the dots between codes & approvals, marketing, software, and engineering to deliver integrated solutions. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering or related discipline; Master’s degree or MBA from a reputable institute is highly preferred. About 6 years of experience working with engineering consultants or design institutes in the construction industry and understanding the role of specifiers and engineers in the construction workflow. Sound understanding of the construction market, including market landscape, competition, code and approval development and revision, and specification processes in construction projects. Demonstrate the ability to handle both strategic and operational tasks by rolling up the sleeves and proactively involving oneself in actions/activities. Strong business orientation by leveraging engineering background with a strong commercial mindset and business ownership to drive sustainable value creation through codes & approval and engineering marketing initiatives. Analytical skills to understand and analyze commercial data, financial data, and application data to drive fact‑based decisions. Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of collaborating and influencing stakeholders at country, region, and global level with senior management. Highly proficient in written and spoken English and business‑level proficiency in one of the North Asia languages (Chinese, Japanese, Korean).
