We are looking for a suitable person to fill the position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences . Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee shall mainly assist the research team for the project “In the Perspective of Recorder: A Research on the Authoring and Recording of Ancient Chinese Etiquette Texts” (UGC/FDS16/H05/25). Responsibilities include: Collecting and compiling literature and useful research materials for the HKMU research project. Conducting preliminary research for the HKMU research project. Providing support to office administration, coordination and liaison with internal and external parties. Providing general support to daily operations, including programmes, projects and activities. Performing other ad hoc duties as assigned. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: Bachelor’s degree or above in Chinese Language, Chinese Literature, or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of Confucian classics, ancient Chinese texts, and culture. Strong organisational and planning skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Competence in computer skills (MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and editing. Self‑motivated, meticulous, able to meet deadlines and work independently.
