We are hiring a Finance Director for a leading stablecoin issuer in Asia. This senior role sits at the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets, covering reserve management, banking operations, financial reporting, and strategic planning. The position is based in Hong Kong and reports directly to the CEO, working closely with compliance and operations teams. Key Responsibilities Reserve Asset Management Develop and execute reserve asset investment policies that are efficient, compliant, and aligned with internal guidelines. Oversee investment activities through regular portfolio reviews, transaction approvals, and reconciliations. Evaluate treasury solutions that optimize returns while maintaining necessary liquidity levels. Banking Partnerships & Operations Build and manage banking relationships, including: • Reserve Asset Custodian Accounts for stablecoin minting/redemption • Operating Accounts for payroll and vendor payments Coordinate with custodians to ensure proper asset segregation and FX optimization. Lead financial reporting in line with GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements. Prepare and consolidate financial statements across multiple entities and currencies. Partner with auditors to deliver monthly reserve attestation reports reflecting accurate reserve balances and token obligations. Strategic Financial Planning Manage annual budgeting, forecasting, and KPI monitoring. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business strategy. Support the CEO on long-term financial planning and fundraising initiatives. Qualifications Required At least 2 years as a Financial Controller or Head of Treasury, with strong experience in financial reporting and treasury operations. 5+ years working in financial institutions such as banks, investment managers (funds), or payment companies. Extensive hands‑on experience managing corporate banking platforms, including payroll, vendor payments, time deposits, and liquidity management. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. Preferred Familiarity with the digital asset or cryptocurrency sector.
