Job Description We are actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our Strategic Data Unit (SDU), a specialized data function within the Group to create and manage common data, general algorithms, and data bridges to the LFX Group. You will be dedicated to shaping and managing group‑level data, AI/ML algorithms, and data connections to the LFX Group. Key Responsibilities Data Preparation and Management Design and implement robust data pipelines for cleaning, transforming, and preparing high‑quality datasets from diverse sources, ensuring data integrity and accessibility across the organization. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to establish data governance practices, including metadata management and data cataloging, to support scalable analytics and modeling efforts. Applied Analytics and Business Understanding Conduct in‑depth exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that inform strategic decision‑making. Deliver high‑impact insights through advanced statistical methods and visualization, focusing on revenue enhancement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency improvements. Guide teams on selecting the most appropriate analytical approaches by actively participating in business discussions and requirement‑gathering sessions. Develop and deploy end‑to‑end ML models using established algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering) to optimize supply chain processes and predict key performance indicators. Evaluate model performance, iterate on features, and integrate solutions into production environments to ensure reliability and scalability. AI Solutions and Innovation Architect cutting‑edge AI solutions, including generative models and multimodal integrations, to automate workflows and unlock new business opportunities. Explore emerging AI applications to identify high‑potential use cases, such as predictive maintenance or personalized recommendations, and prototype them for rapid validation. Product Building and Data‑Driven Mindset Champion a data product‑driven approach by building Proof of Concepts (POCs) and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) that demonstrate feasibility, business impact, and alignment with market needs. Lead the full lifecycle of solution development—from ideation and prototyping to deployment and iteration—while prioritizing outcomes that resolve core business pain points. Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement, ensuring all initiatives tie back to measurable business value. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. 5+ years of hands‑on experience in data preparation, applied analytics, machine learning, or data science roles. Proven expertise in data wrangling and ETL processes, with strong proficiency in Python and SQL for efficient data handling. Advanced analytical skills, blending statistical rigor, logical reasoning, and creative problem solving to drive data‑informed decisions. Solid foundation in machine learning algorithms and frameworks (e.g., scikit‑learn, XGBoost), with experience transitioning models to production. Familiarity with AI tools and libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow); experience with multimodal models and LangChain is a strong plus. Proficiency in data visualization platforms such as Power BI to communicate insights effectively. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of bridging technical concepts with business objectives to influence strategy.
