Campus Services Manager in the Facilities Management Office (Ref. R/359/25) Reporting to the Director of Facilities Management, the appointee will oversee and manage a sizeable team to provide a range of campus services and logistic support for the University Community. Main duties include to: Oversee the operation and performance of the Campus Services Section to ensure the smooth running of all day-to‑day services on campus and off-campus sites, including event support, mailing services, transport services, and moving services; Assist in the formulation of procedures, manuals, operational guidelines and instructions for the implementation of Government or University’s policies, code of practices, and guidelines to ensure the delivery of quality services in a cost‑effective manner; Manage staff performance, provide training, and enforce discipline when necessary; Liaise with Government Departments and external bodies concerning campus matters; Be responsible for the financial budget, budget control, tender documents for service contracts, and contract administration; Conduct reviews of the University’s facilities in terms of adequacy, efficiency and effectiveness, and make recommendations for improvement; Work closely with other sections within the Office and relevant users/authorities to facilitate continuous improvement in facilities and services; and Perform any other duties as assigned. Requirements A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus a professional qualification in a related discipline in Facilities Management; At least 15 years’ relevant experience, of which at least 5 years at a managerial level, with a proven track record in management; Being self‑motivated with strong leadership, organizing and problem‑solving skills, as well as good communication and interpersonal skills; and Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese are required. Salary and Conditions of Service Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed‑term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
