We are looking for a Backend Engineer (AWS) who is technically strong in Amazon AWS and passionate about managing the cloud infrastructure that supports our Android hardware solutions. What you'll be doing AWS Infrastructure Management – Design, deploy, and manage our core AWS infrastructure, including EC2, VPC, and load balancers, ensuring high availability and performance. Database Administration – Oversee the management and optimization of our cloud databases (e.g., RDS, Aurora, or self-managed SQL on EC2). Cloud Security – Implement and maintain cloud security best practices, including managing SSL certificates, configuring security groups, and managing IAM roles and policies. Cost Optimization – Actively monitor cloud spending using tools like AWS Cost Explorer and implement strategies to optimize costs without compromising performance. Backend Administration – Perform routine backend administration tasks, including system monitoring, logging, backups, and troubleshooting infrastructure‑related issues. Deployment & Support – Collaborate with frontend/product development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and the deployment of backend applications. What we're looking for 3‑5+ years of experience in backend development, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure management. Strong technical knowledge of AWS services, specifically EC2, S3, VPC, and RDS. Hands‑on experience with cloud security principles, SSL certificate management, and AWS IAM. Proven experience in backend administration and managing SQL databases in a cloud environment. Familiarity with AWS Cost Explorer and cloud cost management techniques. Android development experience with backend integration is a major advantage. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Proactive, self‑driven, and comfortable working with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Occasional travel to Shenzhen R&D office for team meetings. Candidates with less experience may be considered for a Junior Backend Engineer position.
