IT Project Manager (Healthcare / Public Sector) Our client is a statutory body seeking a talented individual with a strong background in project management, particularly in the healthcare sector. Major Job Duties Develop project plans, define project scope and objectives, and establish project timelines and deliverables. Identify and allocate resources required for the successful execution of IT programs and projects, including personnel, budget, and application development. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as healthcare professionals, researchers, IT teams, and external partners, to gather project requirements, foster collaboration, and ensure stakeholder involvement throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee and manage the execution of specific projects, including coordinating project activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints. Collaborate with external vendors or technology partners, if applicable, to evaluate and select solutions, manage contracts, and ensure alignment with project objectives and requirements. Communicate project updates, progress, and milestones to stakeholders, senior management, and other relevant parties; prepare regular project reports, presentations, and documentation as required. Ensure that projects adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and ethical considerations; implement processes and procedures to maintain data integrity, protect patient privacy, and comply with relevant healthcare regulations. Specific Mandatory Requirements Minimum 10 years’ experience in managing and successfully delivering complex IT projects, which should include experience in project planning, resource management, risk assessment, and stakeholder management. Having prior experience or knowledge of the healthcare industry, healthcare systems, medical terminology, and regulatory requirements. Project Management Certification: Possessing a recognized project management certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2, demonstrates a strong foundation in project management principles and methodologies. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
