Leading IT & Engineering solutions company Job Description Senior Technical Officer / Technical Officer (Civil Aviation Engineering) Responsibilities Assist in planning, organizing and performing technical operations, maintenance/repair and project works for air traffic control (ATC), airport related systems or electronic/IT equipment/systems and its ancillary support facilities Assist in planning, organizing, supervising and/or directly carrying out maintenance/repair works of systems/equipment and conducting system review to ensure system reliability and availability Man and operate round‑clock technical operation centre in roster basis for system/equipment monitoring or remote control, fault report handling, service or equipment restoration, execution of emergency procedure(s) and etc Assist in or directly and dependently carrying out equipment preventive/corrective maintenance, on‑site equipment installation, testing and commissioning, fault diagnosis and repair according to a rectification plan/solution as well as helping one’s supervisor in preparing fault/problem investigation report and/or procurement plan for spare parts or maintenance/repair services Assist in preparing solution for project tender bidding and implementation of project including drafting design submission, requirements for materials/service procurement, supervision/monitoring of sub‑contractors installation works, preparation of test plan/report, conduct testing and commissioning Assist in project progress monitoring, financial monitoring and control of projects to ensure satisfactory completion of project within budget and schedule and help one’s supervisor to prepare project/works progress reports for submission or logistics support Assist in coordination with various internal and external parties such as various government departments, local or oversea airport authority, vendors/suppliers, sub‑contractors and so on for project, operations and maintenance works Senior Engineer (IT or Electronic Systems for Supporting Air Traffic Control Service for Airport) Responsibilities Plan and organize preventive, corrective maintenance or project works for IT/electronic‑based air traffic control (ATC) systems and its support facilities for international airport. Plan, organize and supervise the maintenance/repair works for ATC systems/equipment and conduct system review to ensure meeting system key performance indicators (KPI), e.g. system reliability and availability etc, as required by customer Lead team to carry out fault diagnosis, investigation and provide rectification plan/solution as well as various maintenance and fault/problem investigation reports; Plan and lead team to perform safety case/assessment according to ICAO Safety Management System (SMS) and assure quality according to ISO 9001 standards; Prepare system modification/enhancement solution and lead team for the implementation as required; Prepare solution for project tender bidding and lead team to manage and implement project including drafting design submission, requirements for materials/service procurement, supervision of sub‑contractors installation works, preparation of test plan/report, conduct testing and commissioning and conduct trainings to client and maintenance personnel as required; Assist in cost monitoring and control to makes sure the services delivered in a cost‑effective way and assist to provide expense report(s); Coordinate with various internal and external parties such as clients, vendors/suppliers, sub‑contractors and so on for project, operations and maintenance works; Conduct performance review of his/her subordinates and staff training/development plan Technical Associate Responsibilities Assist in planning, organizing and performing technical operations, maintenance/repair and project works for air traffic control (ATC), airport related systems or electronic/IT equipment/systems and its ancillary support facilities Perform round‑clock support in technical operation centre for system/equipment monitoring and restoration, fault report handling, execution of emergency procedure(s) etc Provide comprehensive operation support including equipment installation service delivery, testing and commissioning and repairing service in customer site or our technical operation centre. Participate in tender bidding and implementation of project and monitor sub‑ contractors installation works Assist in project entire project management process including progress monitoring financial monitoring and projects control. Assist in coordination with various internal and external parties such as government departments, local or oversea airport authority, vendors/suppliers, sub‑contractors and so on for project, operations and maintenance works Responsible for various reports preparation such as fault report, material report project/works progress report, procurement report etc. Job Requirements Senior Technical Officer / Technical Officer (Civil Aviation Engineering) Requirements Certificate or above in Electronic/Electrical/Telecommunication/Computer/ Software/Information/e‑logistics/Industrial Engineering or other related disciplines Possession of training record of Air Traffic Safety Electronic Personnel/Professional (ATSEP) training course is definitely an advantage Fresh graduates will also be considered Possessing track record of relevant hands‑on working experience in system design, building, testing and commissioning, operations and maintenance in mission critical service or project is highly preferable Good team player, customer‑focused mindset, open‑mindedness, proactive, result/service oriented, total quality management and safety concept with strong logical analytical, communication and interpersonal skills Able to work independently under pressure with strong desire and commitment to deliver high quality of works in short notice Good spoken and written English is a must. Knowledge of Putonghua is preferred Possessing driving license is an advantage work in 24‑hour shift duty and/or irregular hours including overnight, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays and/or outdoor as required Senior Engineer (IT or Electronic Systems for Supporting Air Traffic Control Service for Airport) Requirements Degree or above in Electronic/Electrical/Telecommunication/Computer/Information Engineering or other related disciplines and With at least 5 years relevant working experience in supporting mission‑critical services with rich supervisory experience or Knowledge in ATC services/systems, Safety Management System (SMS) and Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel (ATSEP) standards of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and Hong Kong aviation authorities requirements on operations of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) is definitely; Open‑mindedness, critical thinking, logical, proactive, result and customer‑oriented mindset with strong leadership, analytical, problem‑solving, communication and interpersonal skills; Able to work independently under pressure with strong desire and commitment to deliver high quality of works; Corporate Member of engineering professional body, such as Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) or equivalent is an advantage; Good spoken and written English and Chinese; Work in H24 standby duty with carrying company‑provided smart phone, 7 x 24 shift duty and/or irregular hours including overnight, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays when required; Possession of valid Hong Kong driving license will be an advantage Candidate with less working experience will be considered as Engineer or below.
