Client Description Client Description Job Description Job Description Engineer (Electronic Systems) Responsibilities Pre- & post-sales solution design, project planning & implementation, planned and corrective maintenance of various electronic systems. Manage project teams & contractors for the project / maintenance works implementation. Ensure good project progress and delivery including system planning, design submissions, factory inspections, site installation works, testing and commissioning activities, defect rectifications, O&M manual and as-built drawings preparation. Coordinate various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the interfaces and project works program can be achieved. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electronic or IT / Computer Engineering or related disciplines. A minimum of eight years’ post‑qualification experience in the project or maintenance work of extra low voltage (ELV) electronic systems installation. Proven working experience for the planning, design, implementation & maintenance of the Access Control System, Public Address System, Closed Circuit Television System and Trunk Mobile Radio System projects. Solid experience of managing and supervising a project or maintenance team. Self‑initiative and good project management skills to liaise with various project stakeholders and tackle project issues. Independent problem‑solving ability. Able to work under pressure. Effective decision making. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Corporate membership of professional body is an advantage. Technical Officer (Radio) Responsibilities Carry out operations and maintenance duties on the telecommunication equipment in Radio Stations, exchanges and customer premises. Liaise with client for engineering issue and provide solution. Required to perform 7 x 24 roster shift, standby duty after office hour for emergency callout. Requirements Ordinary Certificate in Electronic / Electrical Engineering or equivalent; preferably plus 2 years’ experience in telecommunication field. Good knowledge of professional radio systems, very high frequency equipments, microwave and T1 / E1 systems. Maintenance experience down to component level is preferred. Good interpersonal, analytical and communication skills. Candidate with valid driving license classification No.1 is an added advantage. Technical Officer (Transmission) Responsibilities Carry out routine maintenance on RTHK hilltop transmitting stations, including Radio/TV broadcasting system, AC power plant system, and fire alarm system. Perform routine maintenance on electronic equipment, computer network and computer based broadcasting systems. Drive company vehicles. Required to perform 7 x 24 roster shift, standby duty after office hour for emergency callout. Requirements Degree or above in Electronic / Television / Electrical / Telecommunication / Information Technology or equivalent, preferably plus 3 years working experience. Candidate with valid driving license classification No.1 or 2 is an added advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Senior Engineer (IT or Electronic Systems for Supporting Air Traffic Control Service for Airport) Responsibilities Plan and organize preventive, corrective maintenance or project works for IT/electronic-based air traffic control (ATC) systems and its support facilities for an international airport. Plan, organize and supervise the maintenance/repair works for ATC systems/equipment and conduct system review to ensure meeting system key performance indicators (KPI), e.g. system reliability and availability. Lead team to carry out fault diagnosis, investigation and provide rectification plan/solution as well as various maintenance and fault/problem investigation reports. Plan and lead team to perform safety case/assessment according to ICAO Safety Management System (SMS) and assure quality according to ISO 9001 standards. Prepare system modification/enhancement solution and lead team for the implementation as required. Prepare solution for project tender bidding and lead team to manage and implement project including drafting design submission, requirements for materials/service procurement, supervision of sub-contractors installation works, preparation of test plan/report, conduct testing and commissioning and conduct trainings to client and maintenance personnel as required. Assist in cost monitoring and control to make sure the services delivered in a cost-effective way and assist to provide expense report(s). Coordinate with various internal and external parties such as clients, vendors/suppliers, sub-contractors and so on for project, operations and maintenance works. Conduct performance review of his/her subordinates and staff training/development plan. Requirements Degree or above in Electronic/Electrical/Telecommunication/Computer/Information Engineering or other related disciplines. With at least 5 years relevant working experience in supporting mission‑critical services with rich supervisory experience. Knowledge in ATC services/systems, Safety Management System (SMS) and Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel (ATSEP) standards of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and Hong Kong aviation authorities requirements on operations of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) is definitely required. Open-mindedness, critical thinking, logical, proactive, result and customer-oriented mindset with strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently under pressure with strong desire and commitment to deliver high quality of works. Corporate Member of engineering professional body, such as Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) or equivalent, is an advantage. Good spoken and written English and Chinese. >Work in H24 standby duty with carrying company-provided smart phone, 7 x 24 shift duty and/or irregular hours including overnight, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays when required.
