Senior Legal Counsel (Cryptocurrency Payment Platform) Act as the primary legal partner for business teams on all operational, commercial, and transactional matters Work hand-in-hand with product, compliance, and commercial teams to structure and launch crypto payment products and services Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements (MSAs, SaaS, procurement, partnerships, etc.) Lead payment license applications (Hong Kong SFC / VASP regime and other jurisdictions), from legal feasibility and structuring through regulatory submissions and ongoing compliance Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and regulatory risks across the crypto payments business Provide pragmatic advice on dispute resolution, litigation, and regulatory enquiries Keep abreast of global crypto, payments, and financial services regulatory developments and translate them into actionable business advice Collaborate closely with Finance, Compliance, and senior leadership on cross-functional initiatives Manage external counsel relationships and legal budgets efficiently Requirements LLB/JD from a reputable university; qualified solicitor in Hong Kong At least 5 years PQE in commercial, corporate, and/or financial regulatory law gained in-house (crypto preferred) Demonstrated experience in crypto, blockchain, digital assets, or payment services regulation is a strong advantage Prior involvement in payment or license applications in Hong Kong or other jurisdictions is highly desirable Native or business‑fluent English and Mandarin (written and spoken) Outstanding drafting, negotiation, and communication skills in both languages Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives Resilient, adaptable, and thrive in a fast‑moving, high‑growth environment Ability to manage multiple high‑priority projects under tight deadlines #J-18808-Ljbffr
