Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for a Research Analyst – Asset Management , offering flexibility to work both on-site and remotely. The Research Analyst is responsible for supporting investment research, market analysis, and portfolio decision-making within the asset management function. The role involves conducting qualitative and quantitative research, evaluating financial instruments, monitoring market trends, and preparing analytical reports to guide investment strategies. The Research Analyst collaborates with portfolio managers, investment teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to analyze asset classes, assess risk factors, and contribute to investment models and forecasting exercises. Key responsibilities include gathering and interpreting financial data, preparing valuation analyses, maintaining research databases, and producing regular market updates or thematic studies. The role may also involve tracking macroeconomic indicators, reviewing company fundamentals, analyzing performance drivers, and supporting due diligence activities for existing and potential investments. By providing timely, accurate, and well-structured insights, the Research Analyst helps strengthen portfolio construction, optimize asset allocation, and support informed investment decisions aligned with long-term objectives.
