The Role Lead initiatives to boost student participation and school spirit. Support enrichment activities and school events. Strengthen parental engagement through clear communication and progress updates. Deliver dynamic, inclusive, and effective lessons. Foster creativity, problem-solving, and design thinking. Use data-driven strategies to support diverse learning needs. Integrate digital tools to enhance learning experiences. Serve as a Form Tutor and contribute to the IB curriculum. Required Qualifications Qualified to Bachelor of Education or appropriate Degree with PGCE in relevant English Language subject Qualified Teacher Status Qualified teacher with experience teaching in a UK and/or international environment English Language Training or similar qualification Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience Knowledge and understanding of students’ learning and development and how this relates to English Language practice Knowledge and awareness of current educational developments in English Language Evidence of knowledge and understanding of wider educational developments Knowledge and experience in raising standards for all groups of students How to plan, deliver, monitor, and evaluate lessons and learning as part of the school curriculum Knowledge of the English National Curriculum and related subject knowledge Knowledge of assessment and reporting procedures Knowledge of IGCSE, A Level and IB syllabus and all associated examination arrangements Ability to integrate technology into the classroom experience to enhance and extend the learning of students Hold a current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure for all countries lived in. Compliance with visa requirements for working. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students, and a willingness to undertake appropriate child protection training when required.
