Overview Gaw Capital is embarking on a transformative initiative to implement Workday, a Human Capital Management (HCM) system, across our global operations. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our HR team on a 1-year contract basis. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the Workday rollout, ensuring a seamless transition for employees in multiple countries. This position requires strong project management expertise, experience launching an HCM / HR system (preferably Workday), good knowledge of the HR book of work, and the ability to navigate global teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for the Workday implementation across all office locations. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and external vendors, to ensure alignment on project milestones and deliverables. Manage stakeholder communication, including regular updates to executive leadership, HR teams in various countries, and end-users. Oversee data migration, system configuration, testing, and training programs tailored to diverse global audiences. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address challenges such as regulatory compliance, language barriers, and time zone differences. Facilitate change management initiatives to support user adoption and minimize disruption during the transition. Collaborate with Workday consultants and internal teams to customize the system to meet regional requirements (e.g., compliance with local labor laws in Japan, China, etc.). Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and budgetary constraints, delivering a successful global launch. Provide post‑launch support and evaluation to refine processes and ensure long‑term success. Requirements 8+ years of project management experience in sizable companies, preferably financial institutions. Experience launching HR / HCM systems, preferably Workday, in corporate settings. Proven track record of leading global projects, including experience working with distributed teams across countries (e.g., Asia‑Pacific and North America). Exceptional leadership and good spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse, global teams. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a focus on delivering high‑quality results under tight deadlines.
