Head of Interior Decoration and Aesthetic Specialist (Commercial Project) Our client is one of Hong Kong's most renowned real estate developers, with a diversified portfolio of landmark projects across the Asia Pacific region. They own and operate premium shopping malls in Hong Kong & China which feature world‑class retail outlets, unique performance venues, and F&B concepts. In preparation for the upcoming expansion, they are now seeking a highly experienced tasteful Interior Decoration and Aesthetic Specialist to lead the creative vision and execution of all aesthetic elements within their flagship shopping mall projects. This role focuses on enhancing the shopper experience through distinctive interior decorations, including art installations, promotional displays, point of purchase (POP) materials, and festive décor for all public areas. Responsibilities Report to Head of Commercial Portfolio, this is an individual contributor role. Develop and implement innovative interior decoration concepts that align with the malls’ brand identity and target customer demographics. Oversee the selection, installation, and curation of art pieces and décor that elevate the mall’s aesthetic appeal. Design and coordinate promotional displays and POP materials to maximize visual impact and customer engagement. Plan and execute seasonal and festive decorations that enhance foot traffic and create memorable visitor experiences. Collaborate closely with marketing, retail tenants, and external vendors to ensure seamless delivery of decoration projects. Manage budgets and timelines for all decoration‑related initiatives. Monitor emerging trends in interior and retail design on a global scale and adapt best practices to the market needs. Requirements Degree in Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, Fine Arts, or related discipline preferred. Proven track record with at least 10 years of relevant experience in interior decoration, visual merchandising, or creative direction, preferably within premium shopping malls or luxury retail environments. Prior work experience for relevant large‑scale commercial projects in international gateway cities such as Tokyo, London, Paris, or New York would be a plus. Stylish, tasteful, strong aesthetic judgment with a keen eye for detail and an artistic sensibility. Demonstrated ability to manage complex decoration projects from concept to execution within deadlines and budget. Fluent in written and spoken English; Chinese language capability would be a plus but not a must. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with diverse teams.
