Technical Project Manager (Application) | Retail Banking A top-tier banking client that is driving a large-scale digital transformation to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and service delivery across its retail, corporate, and digital channels. They are seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee and deliver digital initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and cutting-edge technology standards. The Role Direct IT application development projects from inception to completion Manage a team of system analysts and developers for the application development and support services Ensure development process compliant with relevant policies, methodologies, and standards Plan and keep track of project milestones and deliverables Resolve conflict among stakeholders Provide advice and consultation to the responsible application systems and infrastructure Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Product, and Business Units) to align digital initiatives with bank-wide strategy Coordinate vendor and third-party engagements, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and solution integration Apply Agile and/or hybrid project management methodologies to accelerate delivery while ensuring regulatory compliance The Profile 6–10 years of project management experience, with at least 3+ years in application delivery within the banking/financial services sector Proven track record in delivering projects in one or more of the following areas: digital banking, mobile/web applications, payments systems, AI/automation, cybersecurity, or cloud solutions Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or PMI-ACP preferred Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, SDLC, and IT governance Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor negotiation skills Strong communication in English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Apply Today To apply online, please click the 'Apply' button.
