We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Student Affairs Office : Student Affairs Officer (Career Development and Entrepreneurship) (Ref: 25002K2) Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following: Supporting student development by leveraging the University’s career development and entrepreneurship education initiatives. Providing administrative and operational support including tracking the progress and effectiveness of training programmes, managing applications, coordinating meetings with external partners, and more. Conducting research on industry trends and developments relevant to the University’s industry partnership strategies. Assisting the Section Head with administrative tasks, such as arranging meetings, taking minutes, and performing other clerical duties. Performing any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Student Affairs or his/her delegate(s). Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A recognised degree with at least 3 years of post‑qualification work experience. An outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills and professionalism when engaging with new contacts. Relevant experience in student development, or programme management is highly preferred. A proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to initiate projects from scratch, multitask, and thrive in a dynamic environment to deliver results. A hands‑on approach and willingness to take ownership of new initiatives. Strong self‑motivation, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Good command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua). Applicants with less relevant experience may be considered for appointment as Assistant Student Affairs Officer . Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.
