We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Power BI & SSAS Project Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Power BI and multidimensional analytics models, along with the ability to drive solutions and provide strategic insights. This role is critical for optimizing our on-premises data analytics capabilities while adhering to the dataset limitation, with a focus on leveraging SSAS for effective workarounds. Key Responsibilities Lead the implementation and management of Power BI and SSAS projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Develop and optimize multidimensional analytics models to enhance data visualization and reporting capabilities. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their needs, and translate them into actionable insights. Drive strategic discussions around data analytics, providing creative solutions and innovative approaches to complex challenges. Ensure data integrity and compliance while working within system limitations. Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the adoption of Power BI and SSAS tools. Act as a key point of contact for all Power BI and SSAS-related inquiries, facilitating communication between technical teams and business units. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a technical lead or senior developer role leading a team. Extensive experience with Power BI , including data modeling, report creation, and dashboard design. Proficiency in SQL and database management, especially with SQL Server and SSAS . Strong understanding of multidimensional and tabular data models in SSAS. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for advanced data manipulation in Power BI. Proven experience in Power BI and SSAS, with a strong understanding of multidimensional analytics models. Demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically about data solutions, rather than simply executing orders. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to propose innovative approaches to analytics challenges. Experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering data-related projects. Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin preferred. Relevant certifications in Power BI, SSAS, or related fields are a plus.
