Corporate Finance Director

The Corporate Finance Director will report to the CFO and play a critical role in shaping the company’s financial strategy, optimizing capital structure, and leading key corporate finance initiatives. This leader will provide strategic direction for fundraising, M&A, investor relations, and financial planning, ensuring the company’s growth and financial health in a fast-paced fintech environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute corporate finance strategies to support business growth and long-term objectives. Oversee capital raising activities (equity, debt, and hybrid instruments) and maintain strong relationships with investors and financial institutions. Lead financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence for M&A, partnerships, and strategic investments. Collaborate with executive leadership on capital allocation, risk management, and business planning. Drive investor relations efforts, preparing materials for board meetings, investor presentations, and financial disclosures. Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform financial decisions. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, reporting standards, and internal controls. Mentor and develop a high-performing corporate finance team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred). 10+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or related roles (fintech or payments experience strongly preferred). Demonstrated success in capital raising, M&A execution, financial strategy, and global expansion. Deep understanding of financial markets, instruments, and valuation techniques. Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities. High proficiency with financial modeling and relevant software tools.
