Legal Counsel

Overview Our attorneys possess instinctive judgment and impeccable integrity. We seek a lawyer who is a true problem-solver, going beyond issue spotting to provide effective and efficient legal support for Oracle’s hardware supply chain throughout the hardware product/infrastructure lifecycle, including complex multi-tiered development, software and hardware licensing, manufacturing, support and logistics transactions, global business operations, and supply chain‑related regulatory and corporate social responsibility compliance. Responsibilities Negotiate hardware development, supply, contract manufacturing, logistics, and technology licensing transactions. Understand hardware/product development, manufacturing, product quality, regulatory compliance, corporate social responsibility, supplier disputes, legal issues, and company policies and procedures. Serve as fiduciary support for hardware‑related regulatory compliance and company policies. Support other related duties as required. Qualifications Fluent English speaker, both reading and writing. 1–4 years of experience with inbound commercial transactions and programmatic support related to hardware IP, technology, and manufacturing issues within cross‑border, multi‑tier supply chain models. Enthusiastic, ownership‑oriented, and personally committed to individual, team, company, and customer success. Ability to implement internal corporate policies and regularly monitor compliance. Strong influence through clear, factual, and precise verbal and written communication, including reports and presentations in English. Proficient in creating, tracking, and maintaining spreadsheets. Ability to learn new issues quickly, manage challenging priorities, maintain good judgment and humor, and focus in a dynamic environment. Strong prioritization, scheduling, and planning skills to meet business and legal risks. Research and conduct legal analysis on complex problems and evolving regulatory requirements. Anticipate problems and obstacles, creating playbooks and guidelines for future risks. Draft and solidify agreements, contracts, and other legal documents. Effective cross‑organizational communication and collaboration skills. Familiarity with cross‑border contracting issues. Infrequent international travel may be required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
