Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Event Assistant to support our HR team in planning and executing various internal and external events. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a passion for event planning, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including conferences, workshops, and team-building activities. Collaborate with team members to develop event agendas, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, catering, technology needs, and materials preparation. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure all event requirements are met. Support marketing efforts by creating promotional materials and managing social media postings related to events. Attend events to provide on-site support, including setup, registration, and troubleshooting. Gather participant feedback post-event to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement. Maintain an organized record of event planning documents and correspondence. Qualifications Previous experience in event planning or coordination is preferred. Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Fluency in Cantonese and English, Mandarin speaking is a plus. Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as required by event schedules.
