If you are a highly-skilled and self-driven lawyer with top tier technical experience in these areas then we are keen to hear from you: General lending Leveraged Finance Prime brokerage (PBA, Prime Finance Master Confirmation Agreements, Lock-up Agreements); Asian (North/South Asia) markets Key requirements A right to work and reside in Hong Kong Minimum of four years' post-qualification experience gained at a top tier law firm and in-house experience with a leading financial institution Hong Kong or other common law qualification Strong technical knowledge and experience in negotiating prime brokerage agreements Excellent academic credentials Self-starter with a commitment to building a career as a consultant and a drive to achieve at a high level whilst working as a consultant Adept at leading or working within complex multi-functional, multi-national project environments Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface at all levels, building strong relationships internally and externally Client service-focused, with exemplary client service ethic and commitment Strong commercial/business acumen Resilient, adaptable, autonomous and highly credible Advanced organisational skills and diplomacy Why be a Peerpoint consultant? As a Peerpoint consultant you can have the opportunity to work: In-house with one of our clients - one assignment could be stepping into a team to support a project, while another a senior manager role tackling regulatory change. Assignments can range from two to six months in duration and are usually worked four days’ per week. In the A&O Shearman practice on an ad-hoc basis, supporting teams when needed or joining them for fixed periods to work on a deal. We only take you on when we see a demand for your particular expertise, making sure there is a good chance we can provide you with work on an on-going basis. We cannot guarantee work but we are every bit as invested in moving your career forward as you are.
