Site Supervisor (Geotechnical)
Responsibilities:
  • Site supervision of slope stabilization and ground investigation works.
  • Undertake the role of TCP T3 of RGE stream under the BD supervision requirements or the role of Category I site supervisor for public works.
  • Verification of design assumptions with actual site conditions.
  • Check that construction works are carried out according to the design drawing and particular specifications.
  • Site safety management.

Requirements:
  • Higher Certificate or Higher Diploma in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering from a Hong Kong university or Technical Institute, or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience (including 1 year in ground investigation works); or
  • Degree in Geology which covers the specified engineering-related subjects as stated in "Item 2.0 of Appendix VII of BD COP for Site Supervision 2009" or Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering from a Hong Kong university or Technical Institute, or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in Civil or Geotechnical engineering; or
  • Degree in Geology which covers the specified engineering-related subjects as stated in "Item 2.0 of Appendix VII of BD COP for Site Supervision 2009" or Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering and has passed specified geotechnical top-up course, with a minimum of 1 year relevant experience in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering works.
  • Experience in ground investigation and slope design and inspection works is an advantage.
  • Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
  • Responsible, hardworking and self-motivated.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
