Part-time Research Assistant I (A&SS) (Ref: 25002LO) Founded in 1989, Hong King Metropolitan University (HKMU) is a modern, vibrant and dynamic university. We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences : Part‑time Research Assistant I (A&SS) (Ref: 25002LO) Major Duties and Responsibilities Preparing materials for the online survey; Study promotion and participant recruitment; Writing reports and drafting papers; Planning, conducting experiments, and data collection; Providing support in literature review and data analysis; Performing any other duties as assigned to support the operation of the research project. Candidates A recognised Master’s degree in psychology (cognitive psychology is preferred); Experience in carrying out quantitative research; Competence in online survey and statistical software (SPSS, MPlus, R, Qualtrics, MATLAB); Experience in using physiological measures (e.g., EEG, ECG, and EDA etc.); Experience in web or app design (UI/UX) is a plus; A high level of English and Chinese (Cantonese) proficiency and effective communication and organisation skills; Detail‑oriented, responsible, and self‑motivated; Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet multiple deadlines. Terms and Conditions for Appointment Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary part‑time contract. He/she will work for the period between January 2026 and November 2026.
