We are hiring Cantonese Language Teachers to provide customized in‑person lessons to this client in Hong Kong. About Us Global LT has been a leader in language and culture training, translation, and interpretation services since 1979. With 40 years of experience in the educational field, we aim to provide expatriates and their families with language and cultural training worldwide. What We Offer You will have an active and independent role as a language teacher. Once onboarded, you’ll have access to the teachers’ platform and receive offers. With the assistance of your Talent Success Coach, you can accept the classes that match your schedule and preferences. You have complete control over your agenda, and we don’t require a minimum number of hours per week or month. C Position Details Student: Individual class for an adult Availability: Sun between 9:00 am and 10:30 am and any public holiday if there is one. Preferred start date: ASAP Lesson Frequency: 1–2 × a week Lesson Duration: 1 to 1.5 hours each Delivery method: Face‑to‑face lessons Lesson location: near Wan Chai, Hong Kong, Unit 1709 Current target language level: Beginner level Student’s language needs and goals: To be able to communicate and connect with her colleagues (most of her colleagues in her team are Hong Kong people and they speak Cantonese during lunch break or even in work meetings. Student wanted to understand to be a part of them) to be able to speak Cantonese with people on the street, shop keepers, to buy things, etc. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging, tailored lessons that inspire and motivate students. Design and implement customized curricula in alignment with learners’ proficiency levels and objectives. Track and assess student progress, guiding them to help them achieve their learning goals. Communicate professionally and effectively with students to ensure a positive learning environment. Qualifications To have native or near‑native proficiency in the target language, both written and spoken. To have a degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, linguistics, second‑language acquisition, or a related field. To have at least two years of Cantonese teaching experience. At Global LT, all teaching positions are freelance positions.
