Assistant Manager – Logistics & Warehouse VDA Jewellery Limited, Kowloon Bay, Kwun Tong District, HK – 11 days ago Responsibilities Plan and manage the daily operations of the Air Export, Air import and related business product Manage warehouse operation and deliver high service levels to ensure the team delivers results in line with Customer agreed KPI in accordance with the procedures Lead in all aspects of planning the total operation including managing potential problem areas and initiating remedial actions related to warehousing and transportation Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safe working practices within the warehouse Maximize productivity, inventory, integrity and accountability to positively impact profits Responsible for setting goals and objectives to effectively monitor and improve productivity Prepare and generate operational performance report, analyze data and provide actionable insights to management, recommending strategies for continuous improvement Build up positive relationships with customers and contractors to ensure sustained services performance Develop training programs for staff and contractors for full compliance of operating procedures and meeting the service level agreements Maintain staff discipline, efficiency, safety and morale in operations Implement process enhancements and technology solutions to streamline operations and enhance productivity Qualifications F.7 or Tertiary level educational qualification preferably in Logistics or Transportation Sound knowledge on air import, export, transshipment cargo and mail operations handling procedures Minimum 10 years experience in airlines, air cargo terminal, ground handling agent, logistic company, warehouse or freight forwarding company, of which minimum 5 years in a supervisory level Hands‑on experience in air cargo terminal & freight forwarding company operations is an advantage Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese; Mandarin speaking is an advantage Strong leadership and experience in managing a round the clock operation with staff and contractor Willing to perform shift duty, including overnight shift as necessary #J-18808-Ljbffr
