About the Role The Group BCM IT/DR Senior Manager supports the Group Office’s IT/DR program, working closely with Group IT infrastructure, Cloud Architecture, and application support teams to validate our technology recovery readiness and continuously strengthen technology resilience for Group‑wide systems owned and managed centrally by the Group Office. Roles and Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and implement full‑scale datacenter and cloud disaster recovery tests, including scenarios such as loss of key IT components and full‑site failover. Work with the business continuity planning team to understand and establish Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) for critical business functions and related technology, embedding them in the IT DR plan. Manage and support resilience and compliance scorecard preparation, ensuring technology recovery capability aligns with business continuity requirements. Review the SSDC capacity management report to identify IT capacity shortfalls and communicate findings to BU BCM/ITDR teams. Coordinate with infrastructure, application teams, vendors, and datacenter partners on creation and maintenance of fit‑to‑purpose DR plans, ensuring adequacy of all application‑based DR plans and activation runbooks. Work with IT technical staff to ensure DR solutions’ security, integrity, and accessibility of data, databases, and information systems. Schedule and lead planning, coordination, and execution of disaster recovery exercises to validate the DR plan. Coordinate and facilitate group and business unit–related DR planning and execution activities. Manage administration, development, implementation, and maintenance of policies and procedures related to disaster recovery. Support BCM system group‑wide implementation for BU ITDR plan and ITDR drill report. Establish and maintain detailed DR communications and command‑and‑control plans through a change‑management process. Develop and produce program KPIs, metrics, and reports that reflect overall health and viability of disaster recovery capabilities. Provide 24×7 on‑call support for any emergency, which may require activation of all or part of the IT business continuity or disaster recovery plans. Minimum Job Requirements Experience coordinating large‑scale events such as data center disaster recovery tests, power‑downs, and maintenance activities. Hands‑on experience throughout the entire process, from planning to coordination on the day of the activity. 10–12 years of experience in IT service continuity program management, IT disaster recovery plan development, maintenance, and exercising within a large‑scale financial institution. Experience conducting BIA and developing business continuity plans. Experience with enterprise data replication and automation technologies, as well as DR network topology design and implementation. Application and infrastructure knowledge, ensuring proper planning for and implementation of a highly advanced disaster recovery alternate site capability and related DR program components. General technology knowledge (mainframe, distributed systems, network, middleware, storage, and data backup technologies).
