For more information, please visit our corporate website: About the Role This is a unique standalone opportunity for a highly mature and experienced HR & Admin professional to take on a key generalist role in our established Hong Kong office. As a key independent contributor, you will be the cornerstone of our local presence, responsible for the full spectrum of human resources and administrative management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a matrix reporting structure and can manage a wide range of responsibilities independently. Experience in a startup environment is highly desirable. Responsibilities People Partner (Dotted line reporting to Head of HRBP) Performance Management: Implement and localise corporate performance appraisal systems in Hong Kong. Support local managers on performance reviews and follow through on the execution of Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs). Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for Hong Kong-based roles, from screening to interview coordination. Design and deliver a high-quality onboarding experience for new hires. Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for employee enquiries and resolve potential conflicts. Organise team‑building activities and foster the integration of corporate culture within the Hong Kong office. Ad-hoc HR Projects: Assist with other HR-related initiatives and tasks as required. Admin Management (Dotted line reporting to Head of Admin) Office Operations: Independently manage all-rounded office administration, including lease negotiation and renewal, office renovation and maintenance, liaison with building management, and fixed asset management. Government & Vendor Liaison: Act as the company representative to liaise with Hong Kong government bodies such as the Labour Department and Immigration Department. Manage local vendors and perform preliminary review of expense claims. Other Admin Duties: Handle other administrative tasks and support office operations as needed. C&B Support (In support of HQ C&B Team) Payroll Data Coordination: While payroll calculation is handled by the HQ C&B team, this role is responsible for collecting and verifying local attendance and leave data to ensure data accuracy. Compliance & Execution: MPF: Handle daily administrative tasks for the MPF scheme, including new member enrolment and contribution processing. Taxation: Assist HQ in preparing tax filing documents (e.g., IR56 series); manage the local sign-off and submission process to the Inland Revenue Department (IRD). Other C&B Support: Provide support on other C&B related matters as directed by the HQ team. Qualifications 5+ years of solid experience in both Human Resources and Administration. Startup Experience (Preferred): Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment as an HR & Admin generalist is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to be a versatile multi-tasker. Matrix Experience: Accustomed to working in a matrix organisation with multi-line reporting. Excellent stakeholder management skills are essential. Required Skills Cantonese: Native proficiency for external communication. Mandarin: Fluent, for frequent and effective communication with three different department heads (OD, Admin, HRBP) and the finance team at HQ. English: Professional working proficiency. Preferred Skills High Maturity & Communication: High level of professional maturity with the ability to prioritise effectively and communicate proactively within a complex reporting environment. Resourceful: A self-starter with a strong ability to solve problems independently, especially in a setting with limited resources.
