About the Job Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Front Office, the House Manager is responsible for the smooth running and reputation of the hotel and for making decisions in the interests of the business in the absence of the General Manager. The House Manager reports to the Director of Rooms. Responsibilities Assist the Director of Front Office Operations in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office Department. Observe and ensure that all colleagues are performing their duties in accordance with established hotel policies and procedures. Assist all departments with any service lapses that may arise. Make decisions in the best interest of the hotel based on a sound understanding of how decisions are made, ensuring consistency. Achieve maximum guest satisfaction and adhere to the quality standards required by the hotel. Qualifications At least 5 years of Front Office Operations experience, including a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory/management role. Excellent communication skills with fluency in spoken English and Chinese. Superior guest resolution and problem‑solving abilities. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
